Abstract


Kirmen Uribe, a Basque poet and novelist internationally renowned, is an example of the vitality that characterizes the contemporary Basque literary scene. This article offers an overview of his literary work, that is still almost unknown in Italy, taking as its central idea the sea, a multi-faceted and regular presence.
