Forma urbana e progetto di paesaggio: esperienze di pianificazione nella regione parigina

Abstract

The definition of both the limits and the overall shape of the city is paramount in contemporary urban planning. Designing landscape and open spaces may become a key instrument to reorganize formally the urban organism and to requalify it aesthetically and environmentally. Model experiences in this regard are those of the Ilede- France region, which recently approved the new “Schéma directeur” for the Paris metropolitan area.
