Pharmaceutical specialisation and medical culture in La Domenica del Corriere (1899-1909)

This article explores pharmaceutical advertisements in the newspaper La Domenica del Corriere between 1899 and 1909), focusing in particular on the idea of regeneration. The aim of this paper is to point out how traditional ways of approaching disease, associated with the notion of a creative vital force, persisted for a long time in spite of scientific and technological progress.
