Nino Marinone

Abstract

A fresh comparative analysis of Cat. 66.77-78 and Call. fr. 110.77-78 Pf. suggests that in line 78 of Catullus’ poem one should follow Morel and Lobel in emending una to nuptae and milia to vilia.

Keywords

Callimachus; Catullus; Greek poetry; Latin poetry; textual criticism
