I nidi domiciliari nelle Marche: una nuova realtà educativa

Abstract


The article aims at defining one of the integrated services for early childhood education, that is, the homeschooling. Such educational reality, in fact, is spreading also in Italy thanks to the promotion and the investment of several regions. Specifically the reference laws of the Region Marche were examined, along with the professional profile and training of the educator in homeschooling. Finally, a questionnaire was submitted to both homeschooling educators and parents of children taking advantage of this service. It was, thus, possible to define the profile of educators working in this field, their motivations and the difficulties experienced during their activities, while parents were investigated about the reasons behind such a choice letting them express their full satisfaction.
