A Few Comments about Cultural Differences in Media Communication in Poland and the Czech Republic

Abstract


This article aims to reconstruct and compare certain aspects of two reflections of the world that appear in the Polish and Czech mass media. This reflection will be limited to some religious aspects. The analysis is based on selected items of press news from Polish and Czech newspapers. They are divided into two parts. The first shows how cultural differences influence the way of giving and creating the same information. The second concentrates on various ways in which the themes analysed are presented by the media in both countries.
